2.550 - 13.000 kW

Pneumatic spraying

This particular series of fuel burners has been designed to be able to use compressed air or, alternatively, steam, as the fuel atomization fluid, to achieve better combustion efficiency compared to conventional atomization systems. The range is articulated with powers from 2550 kW to 13000 kW. These burners are equipped with a low pressure nozzle that allows not only to reduce consumption but above all to limit the wear of the entire spraying system.

All burners operate with a progressive type regulation, they are equipped with an electrical panel and a fuel pump motor group that the user will install separately. The nozzle is automatically cleaned at the end of the cycle. Compressed air or steam at 8 BAR may be available in the installation. These burners are available in versions with fuel up to a viscosity of 4000 cSt at 50 °C (530 °E at 50 °C). The burners are ignited by a gas pilot burner powered by natural gas or LPG (diesel pilot available on request).

The standard burner is intended only to atomize compressed air and if steam is chosen as the atomizing fluid, the burner is modified with a specific kit. In any case, it is essential to have compressed air to:

  • cold starts when steam is not available;
  • valve maneuvering and automatic nozzle cleaning.
